Sandpaper Academy for Civil services was born in 2019 as a free answer writing initiative by the name Sandpaper 1.0 by our founder Asmita Rekha Bora who had already cleared APSC CCE 2019 by then with a rank 9 in Assam Land and Revenue Sevices in 2019. It was her pro bono initiative to help all aspirants to get an insider"s perspective during their preparation. To help the aspirants directly with the techniques which helped her to get into the services.

Many of the then students are already serving as officers of different services all over Assam today. After Sandpaper 1.0, for 5 years, the founder has steadfastly provided guidance to APSC aspirants. As the number of aspirants increased with time and clarity of the system, the number of batches guided for free by Asmita Rekha Bora and her husband Jnandeep Kumaar Neog, also an officer from ALRS had increased drastically. They run a YouTube channel guiding the aspirants and run 6 free batches at the moment out of which more than 20 got into services from APSC CCE 2022, over 100 have qualified for APSC CCE 2023 prelims and over 150 are still under guidance for APSC CCE 2023 Mains.

As the demand for authentic guidance increased and the satisfaction of doing justice to the students found a strong footing in the heart, Asmita Rekha Bora resigned from her service in May 2023 and hence Sandpaper Academy for Civil Services came into an offline reality.
